in Resident Care

Dear CityView Residents,

Unfortunately, we have just discovered a water main break on the property and have no choice but to shut the water off to the entire community in order to make repairs.

Repairs are being made as quickly as possible. The estimated time for the water to be shut off is about 6 hours.

I sincerely apologize for the short notice and the inconvenience.

Happy First Days of Spring!

in Local Connections

You don’t have to look far to see signs of spring.  From the budding of the trees and the warming of the temperatures to the animals coming out of their winter hideouts, there seems to be a promise of new birth and color in the springtime air.

The first day of spring was yesterday, Sunday March 20, on the same day the vernal equinox occurs. This is when the sun sits directly above the equator on its apparent trip northward.  Of course this sun isn’t moving; Earth is. As Earth revolves around the sun, the top half, called the Northern Hemisphere, becomes tilted more toward the sun as winter turns to spring.

Have you been to the Zilker Botanical Gardens yet? This is one of the most beautiful times of year to visit.

What kind of fun things do you have planned for this springtime? Drop by our Facebook page and share!

House Plants do more than just brighten up a room with color and living energy. Along with being pleasing to the eye, they bring real health benefits to your body. Not only do complaints about headaches, stress, heart/circulation-symptoms and colds decrease when indoor plants are present, but also richly decorating a room with plants can help to keep the air clean. More about the benefits of house plants…
